Politics as Usual...

 
I won't lie, it's been difficult staying committed to this blog in the midst of all that is going on in the world. I am fighting earnestly (pardon the pun, although you should probably know by now there isn't an 'A' in my first name) to steer away from politics yet, it's POLITICS suffocating the news day in, day out. What can I say that hasn't ALREADY been said?

I've been a firm supporter of this 'reset' period, but there's no sports to speak of, movies to critique, or fantasy baseball to participate in to lighten the mood. I've been reduced to watching Lifetime movies and taking random pictures with my fancy camera (see below if you're reading courtesy of your phone).

It hasn't been all that bad. Truthfully, I've taken a liking to working out at home; performing 15-minute  HIIT exercises (thankfully, I own a few dumbbells now) which I find to be much more effective than those customary hour long visits to the gym. And when things really get dull, I dust off GTA V for the soon-to-be-obsolete PlayStation 4, roam around Los Santos stealing cars and punching pedestrians in the face just to let off a little steam. You know, hood sh*t!

The icing on the cake during this reset has been a renewed interest in working on my second book - which I started to piece together towards the latter part of 2018. I've FINALLY picked up some momentum and the energy has been great. I honestly can't wait to see the development of the characters and how everything turns out...
